Well when I sent out all 12 of my injectors i had intentions to see how the results compared. Ran into some problems:

-2 of the RC's plastic clips were too badly melted and could not be removed to be tested, so now i have 4 left

-2 of the 'good ones' were LOST :aigo::icon_mad::icon_mad::icon_mad::3d_frown: thanks to either UPS or Injector Rehab. No one is fessing up. I had $700 of insurance on the package so UPS is currently investigating

This left me with only 2 RC's to compare with :nono: but here's what I got.

From a previous thread i had:

No flowchart was given.

Interesting as they are basically the same things. RC uses more rubber grommets/o rigns. RC uses one grommet on the top that rests on the rail and an o ring inside the entrance to the injector while PTE uses all metal. Both are all metal and both come black.

RC550 always on the right. Also, keep in mind, the RC was in a fire so its dirty :aigo:

Fuel Exit point - pretty much the same

Side by side - notice RC uses a rubber grommet for the fuel rail to sit on

Feed side (top) - notice the inner ring on the RC is a rubber oring while the PTE is metal

The RC's that were originally sent (the two the couldn't be tested are obvious):

Believe it or not, the PTE's were flawless:

The two RC's despite the fire worked nearly perfect:
