PS3 and XBox 360 are equals

To sum it up there is way to much hype and they are over priced.I don't spend my money much, I won't buy a PS3 way to much money, My friend has Xbox360=Gears of War=Amazing game. I think there was to much hype for the 360, it has over heated on me about 7 times and it isn't even mine....I think there is just to much hype for the PS3 too. I guess it is a matter of opinion but I don't think any of these systems are Next Generation or should be called it.
It has always come down to which console has the games that you want to play. My sega genesis did me no good when all I wanted to play was super mario world and final fantasy 3. The 3DO and Jaguar might have been impressive hardware-wise at the time they were launched and look how they turned out because what little games there were sucked. I only bought the ps2 because it had gt3 and thank god because 5 years later I get to use the same system to play guitar hero lol

I think the "Best Controller" is a matter of opinion. I have a PS2 and xbox (original and 360). Personally I think the xbox 360 controller is perfect. The PS2 controller feels a little...I guess "cheap". It doesn't feel as solid as the xbox. As far as games go, you really can't say anything for, or against, any of the PS3 titles, since afterall, you haven't played any of them yet. And I don't care how many trailors you've seen. Any company can put out pretty videos. Its the actual game play that matters. I've been playing Gears of War quite a bit the past few days and the game fucking delivers. The graphics are outrageous. The game play is smooth as hell. Its just an incredible game. So, you guys can argue all you want which is better, but until there's a PS3 connected to your TV, you really can't talk much shit about it.
the wii has some disadvatages but having all the marios and old nintendo games playable on a new console will be nice.

.I just heard on the radio on the way to work this morning that the PS3 will NOT be 100% reverse compatible. I don't know what that means...they didn't elaborate. Still, that's gotta be a hit against them...especially since they didn't come forward with that information to start with.

Just means every game won't work.
It'll be like 360 and only certain games will be programmed in.
I'll probably have all three some day.
Most likely a Wii then 360 then ps3.
