During routine inspection of the bottom side of my 87T, I found a torn power steering rack boot on the passenger side. No grease or oil inside anymore.. the rack doesnot make any noise when turning.. I just happend to see the tear.. How hard is it to replace the boot? Do I need to take the rack out to do this? toyota sell a boot kit for this? I like to replace boots on both sides.. Should I get a used (in good condition) rack and replace boots?
