problems i cant figure out.

i just sold my 87 na and now am looking at an 89 turbo targa with few mods and i really like it and want to buy it but the only problem that is holding me back is the way it wont start. owner said he came back from work one day and then it wont start anymore. it will crank but it cranks every every every slowly.
like a crannk, crak, crank, crank like how a battery is going out sorta but we put in a new one and it wont start either. please help out so i can get another supra.:biglaugh:

he will not let it go for cheap. try but lowest hell do is 3k. he use to drive it ever since he bought it last year but it just started doing this beginning of this month. tried to crank but it wont so i dont know.
