my supra is pretty much stock just welded off cat except the one by the downpipe and has an upgraded ct26 57 trim by turbonetics... i am having a issue where my car is not going passed 4.5psi. Only mod is i guess the bosch bpv and i have it vented to atmopshere. how do i know if my bov leaks? when engine is one should i be able to feel air coming from it? could it be my wastegate? whats the best way to test it?

if you're only boosting about 4.5psi, your wastegate actuator is most likely working, if it wasnt working, it would build boost until you hit fuel cut.

take off the dp but leave the elbow on and drive it around and see if the wastegate is opening, youll be able to hear it and only do that for a short while

why is your bov vented to atmosphere, try routing it back the stock way and see what happens or put the stock one back on and see what it does

yep turned out to be down pipe i have no boost leak but once i removed the downpipe and kept elbow on i was booting 10+psi (i had washers on my wastegate) then hit fuel cut so yeah i guess my next question would be whats is the safest psi to run on ct26 57 trim with 2.5 turboback stock elbow and intake ? everything else stock

You took off the down pipe ant it now boosts 10 psi? You have a clogged cat or muffler.

10 psi should be fine if you have no boostleaks.
