After testing this intake for 3 weeks on my supra. 2 weeks on a local friends supra. I have opened the preorder list.
first 10 members of supramania will get their intake in choice of color and version for $75 +sh
after the first 10 regular cost will be $90+sh

This 3inch High Temp Plastic Intake Will Increase Horsepower and Torque of the 7MGTE.IT is a direct replacement for the restrictive stock rubber accordion intake hoseIt has been Coated with ceramic HHP to help keep the air cool. The advantage to having a plast intake pipe over a metal intake pipe is the plastic pipe won't get heatsoaked as bad as the metal pipe. Especially With the Ceramic coating. This means colder air and more consistant power.
It will also increase the "spooling" sound of the turbo over the stock pipe.

You can choose 3 different colors. Red, Blue or black
2 different versions
V1 for cars that recirculate the bov.
V2 for cars the vent the bov.

*Note* all couplers are black

Price includes everything you need to install the intake
You get 2 couplers, 4 clamps, adapter hose for the bov,(V1 kits only) and the intake.

Does it just go to the bottom ic pipe and connect there or does it go to the intercooler? Can you make one that will do away with the 3000 pipe? Thanks.

this is the intake pipe.
it connects the turbo to the MAS

there shouldn't be any problem with the powersteering

i don't have any dyno numbers Yet.
but it only makes sense, bigger and smoother pipe = more horsepower.
the same concept is behind changing your intercooler pipes. bigger less restrictive piping makes more power
hopefully i'll be able to take my supra to the dyno and test the 2 intakes

feel free to ask any other questions

can't wait to get it running so I can hear that turbo spool...

EDIT: as far as powersteering goes I have removed mine so it wasn't a problem for me...

If I remember correctly bigger pipes aren't always better in this situation... it just means more turbo lag... but I understand what you're saying about the intake...

yes

well, i see what your saying. but..
for example: if u have a T-88 turbo and trying to push 30 psi through 2.5 in intercooler piping. the intercooler piping is gonna limit your horsepower.. so 3 inch intercooler piping would allow more flow.. etc...
ive seen alot of high horsepower supras that do not have an intake pipe at all.
they just have a wire screen attached to the inlet of the turbo to filter out the big stuff. the "extreme setups"

im not arguing, just wanting to try to explain my point furtherer

Thanks
chris

are these things pretty strong? obviously not as stop as the steel or aluminum ones, but they are made of plastic then ceramic coated, so i am just wondering how strong these are... like brittle or whatnot?

^^^ I actually dropped mine during the install (oops) and it didn't do anything... but I'd still be careful with it... once it's installed I don't believe it should be moving much if any at all...

lol... i didn't do any test drops :p guess 7M-GTE did that for us

im glad to hear your liking the intake so far.
u gotten her fired up yet? im waiting anxiously to hear that beast

the intakes are pretty freekin strong. the pipe wall is around 7mm thick... and the adheasive i used is very strong. to test it... i glued 2 pipe sections together... and i could not brake them apart. i put the seam on the corner of my work bench then threw all my upper body weight aginst... about 10 times and it never showed any signs of weakness. ( i weigh 185 lbs and bench 230)
the ceramic coating ... is ceramic... if u strike it with a hammer, it will brake
but i have not experienced any problems with any of the intakes so far.
i have tested the ceramic coating for well over 2 months now. looks great still
