Under a damn Toyota
Im in the process of doing body work on my '87, after stripping the car down of all the moldings and weather stripping, the door moldings are trash. They have completly deformed and the metal backings are separated so now Im screwed... Other then buying new ones (way expensive) is there a better way of taking these off? Im hoping I can find a parts car that has good ones that I can save.
Also on the quarter glass I have to actually remove the glass itself to remove the lower mouldings right?

Unless you want to fill the holes and shave them (search BIC performance and check out their silver car, it has this done), you'll have to buy a used set from the for sale section or ebay. A used set usually goes for about $100-200 on ebay for the whole set.
