power windows/gauge cluster dead :(

yea so i was driving to a shop to have my bride seats installed , when my windows and RPM guage, oil pressure gauge, battery gauge, and temp gauge juss stoped working....also my whole interior is out, my dash and all the wires are out, but i dont think anything shorted out....i didnt smell anything burnt...i went and looked at where my 7.5 gauge fuse should be and thier was nothing there, so i put a fuse there and still i didnt get anything...im running crazy someone help meeeeee....what should i check for or replace?

The same thing happened to me awhile ago. It seems the previous owner tapped something into the dimmer switch and it shorted. It took me awhile, but after many blown fuses later, I finally traced it down to that switch. Are you sure there isn't anything that shorted?

well i checked for any burnt wires but i didnt find any...im pretty sure there is a short somewhere but i have no idea where to start looking

Did you check the circuit breakers in the fuse block area? They can trip, and will need to be reset. I believe the ones you want to look at are the one's with the label "power CB", and "gauge CB". Someone back me up on this lol, and correct me if its just one or the other...I just wanted to point him in the general direction.
