The seals in my power steering rack are leaking and ive been told that the rack needs replacing. My Question is you can get it with or with out the EVO component. What is that??? The only reason im concerned is there is about a $150:aigo: difference in price. If anyone could tell me what this is and if i should go ahead and replace it i would appreciate it :1zhelp:

here is the link for the racks on the advance auto parts site

Whenever I had PS rack questions nobody answered my thread either haha. EVO component is (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the progressive power steering. There is a solenoid on top of the area where the column connects to the rack on evo/pps units. If there is one on your current rack then it has PPS if not then you are good with the cheaper rack. To my knowledge you can buy the non-evo/non-pps/cheaper rack and just leave the solenoid unplugged if you have a pps car.
