Power steering question

I've got a 90' turbo and need a new power steering pump. I believe I read that all 89' and up had the progressive power steering but I'm not sure. Is there a difference in the pumps between the two setups or is it just the rack that is different. I'm asking because I don't want to buy a brand new one from toyota but just get a remain one from auto parts store and need to know which pump to get if there is a difference.

Also if anyone has a good condition power steering resevoir they want to sell or get rid of I'm looking for one of those as well.

pumps are normally the same price. The progressive part is in the steering rack itself

But if I get a reman pump wouldn't I have to swap the pulley anyway?

When I thought I needed a pump I was going to order the one with Hydraulic reaction for my 89 Progressive steering. The TSRM uses the term "Hydraulic reaction chamber" on PPS steering.
Why do you think you need a pump?

i bought a 1J front clip, did the whole 1j swap from the clip even the JZA70 front subframe and now im not sure if the progressive power steering is working or not and im not sure how to tell??

im not sure if it has anything to do some computer beside the ecu or not
