I have a 89 Supra Turbo and I just recently replaced my power steering pump and the car is still on the jack stands. I followed the instructions that came with the pump,which had me turn the steering wheel from lock to lock with the cap off the reservoir about 20 times to get the air out of the system.My problem is when i put the cap back on the reservoir and turn the car on, I could hear air coming from under the cap after awhile it will start squirting fluid out when I tried to turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. I think the problem is that I have air in the system, but how do i fix this problem. What are the symptoms of a bad rack?
