I was wondering if anyone happened to know beyond the 12 Volts DC that the motors use. Does anyone happen to know wattage and Amps that they use. It's for a little side project im working on. Figured it could still go in this section though since it is the MKIII Drivers seat :) this is the seat from a 90 Fully motorized. Fwd, bck, tilt of bucket, lumbar, side bolsters, and seat back tilt all motorized.

If no one has taken the seat apart before there seems to be an individual motor for each axis' of use.

Also i need to find a way to get some new suede to recover the seat but i only need for the one Seat :biglaugh:

Merci Monsieur. You'll need to power each motor with your meter set to the maximum amp scale and placed in series with either the positive or negative wire. That can be done using the two connectors on the seat:

A pity it's not in the car. If it was all that would be needed is to remove the 30 amp CB and insert the meter in place of it...
