Well... I get in my car and drive to work today and when I get out and I get this ever so slight smell of burning....something. So I open the hood and can't smell or see anything so I assume it must be one of the Hondas. I work at Honda so I am used to burnnig oil and new car brake in smells. Well at lunch I smell it again so I put her on the lift and my PS pump seems to have blown a seal or something as my crossmember is wet with fluid. The leak is comming from behind the pully from the shaft. Is there a seal I can replace or am I just better off to get a new pump from Yota?

Yea I got someone in the car after I washed the bottom out and had them turn lock to lock to see where it was leaking from. I had hoped for a loose banjo, bad hose, or a bad washer but no dice.:3d_frown:

Well at least its not the rack. Is the pump the same on all mk3 supras?
I have PPS and it is a turbo. Yes a filter would be a nice and atf flush is a deffinate. Thanks for the links guys!

After having rebuilt a few pumps, it's really not that hard and it's expensive either. Worst thing that could happen is it still leaks, which is doubtful. Check the shaft for any scoring or damage, if it's good, and the front seal is where it's leaking, just pull it apart, change all the seals, clean it up, and you're good to go.
