Portland/Vancouver AFM?

So last week my car started running like junk (won't idle, hesitation when I hit the throttle, etc.); I'm fairly new to the car since I just bought it last December-ish and made the unfortunate mistake of cleaning and re-oiling the K&N filter already on the car. Now after doing some research I find that I may have killed the AFM.

Seems to me the easiest way to check it would be to swap in a know good one - anyone local to Portland/Vancouver that has one sitting around they could part with? Better yet, if you're not willing to sell what about a loaner I could swap in to verify it's actually the AFM?

I've tested the AFM with a DMM and one of the readings was out of spec (according to the manual) - can't remember which one off the top of my head.

BTW; it's throwing a code 31 too......
