I play poker, either private games, tournaments or in Vegas. But not online.

To me there's no point in playing if you can't see the other players. Poker isn't about cards, it's about people and better. The cards are incidental.

How do you read someone's tells online?

not 21, so only "friendly" card games for me, mostly with the same group of friends.

Poker night every Friday at my mate Dans house. Much bourbon is consumed, chips are won and lost, fun for all the inmates

card games confuse me imensly so i dont bother with any of them.

It just sharpens your skills to play online. I play lots of private games mostly, a few at the casino. I played online for almost a year before i ever played in private games at people's houses or at the casino, and i pretty much runner up or win each time. Playing everyday online really helped out a lot.
