It's for using a PDA, to log the Zeitronix ZT-2 Wideband, instead of having to haul out the notebook every time you want to take logs.

The logs can be viewed on a pc with the PLViewer. It must be the PLViewer for PocketLOGGER ZT files.
Make sure to save it as a .jar file. Windows will want to change it to a .zip.

I'm attaching some logs and sample screen shot of the plviewer interface.

I can say that I am very happy with it :)

Thanks for post, I've been looking into this since its a lot less expensive than the zeitronix display unit, but is the software worth the $40 price tag??

I think the software is worth it. It's much easier to hook up the pda to log data, than setting up a notebook and making sure it's safe secured in the passenger seat.
If you're thinking about using it as a full time display, you'll go through a lot of batteries.
But, I think the zt display is worth it too. It's got an a/f gauge, boost gauge (w/sensor), egt gauge (w/sensor), VF display at the switch of a button. For the price of the display these are included.

sorry didn't mean to give that impression. they do not.
Also, you would not even be able to log boost or egt on the pda without the extra sensor.
sorry bout confusion

haha oh its cool. I wouldnt really need to log those anyways, but if it were that good a deal, i couldnt pass it up. I think I'll look into this PDA logging solution.. all i need is a compatable PDA, the software, and the adapter from zeitronix, right? besides, PDA's are pretty cheap, and i'm sure i could find something else to use it for.:dunno:

Can you open the serial adapter and see how the wiring is? I don't feel like paying $15 for a $3 serial adapter.

Been running a pretty good tune lately and thought I’d share.
1bar fading to 13.5psi, 12:1a/f
I haven’t had it on a dyno lately so I don’t have any current hp/torque numbers.

The ZT2_pocketlogs zip contains two run logs. You need the PLViewer to view them.
