ive come to a fork in the road and cant decide which way to go. probe? JE? Wiseco? i like the price of probe but dont know the quality differences of the three choices. I am in need of block boring it needs at least .020 over and i would like forged internals. I am looking for at least 800 bhp and would like to run 22 psi minimum. any suggestions on which pistons to go with would be greatly appreciated.

800 HP? Hope you have deep pockets...you're gonna need a boat load of $$$ to prep a motor for that kind of power ;)

JE or CP pistons...better get a stout set of rods too.

Well, I'll put it to you this way:

Cheap, Fast, Reliable
You get to pick two ;)

I have not used Probe pistons, so I can't speak to the pros/cons...I do know JE and CP have/are being used in some very high HP builds.
The quality is without question.

I'd be just as (if not more) concerned about the head...especially the valve train components for that kind of HP.

my machinist said that my valves seated good and were in good shape they are stock though and they already decked the head and are decking the block as well

Sounds like to me you should be lowering your expectations toward a more realistic goal ;)
