Pinion bearing removal

Started disassembly of my diff to replace the crush sleeve with a solid spacer and hopefully get rid of the driveline play but I don't have the SST to remove the front pinion bearing or crush sleeve.

Anyone find a solution other than the SST to get the bearing out? Tx2k10 is looming and I need to get the car back together! TIA!

Did a lot of reading today and it looks like the SST is the only way to do it without disassembling the diff. I ended up just putting a new seal in and resetting the preload. It took a little more torquing to get it right so I think it wasn't preloaded enough and I should be ok reusing the crush sleeve.

Test drive revealed no more whine than usual and quite a bit less drivetrain slop...
