ok. I have gone this route now as I did try and fit my mechanical gauge in the stock cluster but it was too deep, so I've put a good oil pressure gauge there instead.
I'm about to fit a Pillar Double pod and I am wondering the best way to route the vacuum cable for my mechanical boost gauge?
Can anyone who has done this with a mech gauge as opposed to electronic please give me a heads up on vacuum pipe routing?
Did you take it into the back of the dashboard > behind the gauges and clocks to glovebox > through rubber grommit in firewall (long way)
or is there a better way through the firewall on the drivers side?
Also, does the stock pillar trim just pull off or what? Mine had a screw at the top but seems almost stuck to the pillar even with that removed and I dont want to break it :nono:
Thanks
