pics stuckin camera...now what?

can someone give me a quick primer on posting pics?

got the polaroid camera and software, got the pics into the computer, now how do i share them with the world?

need the interweb for dummies versioni guess

upload pics




use the provided tags
(i.e. [img] url of picture here )

When you're posting look for manage attachments. It's down under the box where you post what you want to say. You have to be in the advanced post section though. You also have to shrink the pictures to a size that will fit on here. It's like 1600 x 1200. I don't know how people post pics on here and it not be an attachment. Hopefully someone will tell how.............lol

dont use photobucket! they resize all your pics if they are above a certain size and it is the most annoying thing in the world. If you dont have anything above (what is it now, 1mb? havent kept track) then dont worry about it. I use www.imageshack.us I rarely run into a size problem with them.

I dont have any issues with photobucket, and I upload huge pictures from photoshop. I can't stand imageshack due to their pop ups, horribly annoying.

thought it was you...i'mjust starting to "break" into the "scene"

was on cs first, after buying $300 mk2, thought i was going to flip it a fewmonths later when ff flick cameout.....turns out i bought the "wrong" toyota, so i kept it..then dropped in on vegas last year, talked to keith a while..then i bought a mk3...and then another...looks like trying to turn a quick buck turned into a full blown hobby..(my poor scirocco is starting to feel neglected)

have plans for the future,plan on being "here" a while...even changed to jobs to a local gig to have more time to wrench and "bs with the boys"

thats why i've been on so much last week or so, waiting to start new job nxt week, then i wont have all this time to sit around and write novels in ot

yeah..still have it,parting out one of the mk3 right now...running in every fewminutes to check up on it...looks like i'm going to keep the local ups guy busy this afternoon..didn't know it was going to be decended upon like vultures'lol

actually gave the mk2 to step daughter we're going to get it fixed up in time for her 16th bday(hopefully). it was the one i was planning on putting small block in...dont think i'mgonna go that route though...scary putting a kid in that much car...prolly hit rabid chimp up for a 6m

LOL yeah, keep the smallblock out of the 2900lb car that your step daughter will be driving... even a healthy 5M is still fun. At 25, I still enjoy putting around in my n/a car that probably doesnt run faster than 15.5 on a good day

Hey, just in case you haven't figured it out yet, its in the post right above you
Basically once you have uploaded your pics to an image server, they give you a URL for each one. To post up here, just type in

<img>URL server gave you</img>

and it will appear. USE "[" & "]" INSTEAD OF "<" & ">" and that's all there is to it.
