I have an 89 7mgte. 173,5xx. Original headgasket.
I was about to change my plugs and wires when I noticed a bunch of oil in the spark plug galley. By then I had pulled the 2nd cylinder wire and oil had seeped in between the wire & plug, needless to say when I put the plug back on it was missing. Replaced V/C gaskets, plugs, wires, and V/C bolts & lock washers.

I replaced the plugs again after a couple fouled out.........still missing.

Im stuck at this point and maybe thinking it's a coil.

Anyone???

Easy way of finding a problem is run your hands over the wires and coils while car is running....when you get shocked then you found the problem! Clean out all the oil in the valley and try again....and did you gap your plugs?

You dont have to gap them do you?

Part #? Or, do you know if they are ISO or JIS length?

+1 on the need to be gapped ;)
