I believe my coil is the original to the car. I would to get your opinion on what should I look for in a performance coil.

I just installed a Accel in mine and the first thing I noticed was it fired right off as I started it the first time after the swap.
Thanks, that is helpful. I was still wondering also the amount of volts and miliamps. Is there such thing as to much. I saw that the accel was 48k volts. I understand that the amount of gap, say 39thousands, you would need at least 39k volts to spark. What about a coil that is 80k volts?? Also curious about how does miliamps play into all of this? Just trying to gather all the info I can.
