I myself used moly grease as I had it around, and the gear oil DOES get up into that part of the tranny and didn't want any reactions from using an odd grease.

To be honest, that's why I really don't think using a multi-purpose grease will hurt anything. Gear oil is petro based afterall.

mine sealed back up fine i guess cuz i drove the car after i was done across town and back and checked it for leaks and it didnt leak at all.

i will say tho i LOVE how these bushings feel and the MT90 is sooooooooo smooth no more caplunk into gear its great the shifter feels nice and tight it goes into gear easy this is by far the best mod EVAR.
