Passenger seat question.

Hey guys, I just recently swapped over to 89+ front seats, power reclining ftw! Though the only difference i notice is, for the passenger seat, my 88 seat used to tilt and slide forward when i needed to put stuff in the back, now the 89+ seat just folds but doesnt slide anywhere, is this a common change for pre-89 to 89+? or was that just an option for my old seats? they were oem 88 seats btw..

Linkage might have popped off under the seat.

Did you swap a power seat into the passenger side as well? If so, they'll fold forward mechanically, but if you need to squeeze in the back from the driver side, you gotta use the power slider...

Thanks for the replies guys, i removed the seat and looked under there, slide spring was in tact and the cable and the fitting is there perfectly, i just adjusted the cable to have more slack (it was about 1/2" from the stopper) causing it not to not slide, after adjustment of the cable, it slides perfect!
