Parking + Fog lights turn on when e-brake off

Just wondering if anybody knows how to disable this? When i release the e-brake, i hear a relay click and all the parking lights will turn on, as well as the DRL's (my fog lights).

btw i have a 91 supra turbo targa

Canadian Supra, or US? Those of us in the US have a slightly different wiring layout. Refrence the factory EWD for your schematic so you can wire it correct.

Possibly something in the Canadian spec DRL circuit? I think Jeff Lange posted the wiring diagram for them before. If it's not Daytime Running Lamps it's an interesting mod.

Just trying to figure out how to disconnect my DRL (fog lights) as well as front and rear parking lights that come on at the same time.

I have HID headlights, and will be getting a set of HID's for my foglights to match.. but do not want them on all the time!

if i do figure out how to disable it, it would be nice to disable the parking lights as well, so i can choose to have them on or off.

Well, if they come on when you release the e-brake...




Personally, I'd pull off the e-brake boot and see. Then, if there's only one switch I'd look for a wiring diagram. If there's only one disconnecting it is probably going to leave your brake indicator on the dash on full time.
