Painting tips.

Hey guys! whatsup?

Ok... today im beggining my prep for paint, and im new to sanding, painting, and body work in general...

I have a crap paintjob right now that looks like its a single stage, its not a base coat clear coat i dont think.

How do you think i should come about sanding? Should i use an electrical orbital sander or?? and what grit's do you think i should use throughout the project...

i'm asking because of my specific paint "job" it appears that its original paint under the maaco paint, almost doesnt even look sanded, should i sand through both layers?

ya, unless you did all the prep work yourself, macco just paints over it.
So you would want to sand all the way thru to stock paint base coat

I removed some trim and succesfully made it flush with the body..
