i'm running open downpipe as some of you already know.
I was thinking about driving back to NJ like this since i cant afford the rest of it yet. Well, as many of you already know, open downpipe is pretty loud, but i've been driving around like this for almost a month and its not loud to me anymore.
When i'm crusing, if it give the right amount of constant throttle, the car is virtually silent..so i was thinking it would greatly benefit my chance of not getting pulled over crossin' that turnpike.
i was just wondering, what would the fines and all that be if i did get stopped.

I think that it is a pretty hefty fine for not having a cat. converter and whatever it is for the loudness. I know in VA its something like $2500 for each cat missing. I'm sure jersey is worse. I live there, but being in the military and my wife being a resident of MN, I have MN plates and don't have to worry about any inspections. You might want to put something on there that at least looks like a converter.

I think the reason it isn't loud to you anymore is because you have probably permanently damaged your hearing and are also use to the loudness.
