When I worked my menial retail jobs, at Sears the sales team in hardware/appliance/electronic section had out own little breakroom in the "electronics cage".. so none of the hacks that worked in clothing,etc would steal our lunches. You had to have a special name badge to scan to get into the electronics cage.

And when I worked at Safeway (grocery store for those who dont know), I had a locking mini fridge in my office. When I went corporate with Safeway, they paid for my lunchs..

The first time I saw a fridge at work that said "don't eat food unless it belongs to you", I thought it was funny, no one really does that right? But then I realized that people actually did take others food out of there. What is this? 1st Grade?

But I get up too late to make my own lunch... and the cafeteria is alll the way down in the basement... thats... like 1 floor down and back up. :icon_frow

I eat everyones food at work. If its laying out and it looks good, I'm probably gonna have at least a bite. In fact, that memo sounds exactly like something I'd do.

it happened once where I used to work(toyota) and took about 3 months to find who was taking lunches, needless to say, his ass hit the curb.
