I'm going to order my 1j from Driftmotion today and was wondering should I just order it on the website or should I call and talk to Aaron?

Try posting in his vendor forum or just PM him.

Are you comfortable with just making a purchase for that much with out communicating with who you are buying from? I'd think not.

If it is with Driftmotion, yes I do feel comfortable. I've ordered near a grand in parts and did it right through the website and had no problems at all.

Not saying anything about them, just having a conversation about everything is always a good thing or else you'll just be sitting wondering whats going on.

If it were me, I'd want to discuss milage, compression #s if possible and what not of the actual engine, not a generic pictures on a website (i'm not sure how their site is setup for clips)

Aaron is a great guy but I would still call and discuss the above.

Well I just talked to Aron and His 1jz's are not out of supras so I would have to get the rear sump pan and I would have to get a fly wheel all that stuff.
so I'm going to start looking for one out of a supra.

for my purchase it was through the internet. I purchased $4,500 worth of parts and swap. Then i called to confirm. He called me back with any delays and shipping info. I feel comfortable talking with or not talking with someone from driftmotion.

I'd just go with a front clip. I've heard it's a way cheaper swap, depending on how you go about it. If you were planning on just pickin up the engine/harness in a truck or somethin, I guess it'd be a small change of plans if you had to pick up the entire front half of a car.:biglaugh:
