Well In the past few weeks a buddy of mine has decided to go AEM EMS and ditch his Maft-Pro setup. I currently own Emanage Blue but i dont run it yet since I am still 100% stock (still breaking in the new motor). Once the motor is ready for power I will be in search of a tuning device. So to start off here is what the setup will be once i swap from the break in setup

*Turbonetics 62-1 Bolt-on w/ported exaughst manifold
*BIC DDP w/full 3in DP back
*2.5in Hardpipes w/either spearco replica or cartech IC with a SSQV
*AEM wideband to keep an eye on things
*LIPP AFM (if emanage is used)
*LIPP Fuel Rail
*RC 550cc Injectors
*Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
*J-tube block-off
*LIPP FPD (fuel pulsation dampener) Eliminator
*Walbro fuel pump
*Profec e-01

Thats it basicly to the best of my memory. Well I could go either way (emanage or maft) as both appeal to me. Either way I will be using a Greddy E-01 for boost control. The emanage is paid for and the maft pro (plug and play setup with a splicing harness) is 500 bucks. I want a nice crispy idle and nice drivability (I dont want it to stumble and studder all day). My power goal is just 400-450 just a fun daily driver which brings me to my 2nd point wont the maft since eliminating the AFM make the car more reliable since I will no longer have an AFM to die and leave me in limp home mode? I am just looking for honest "what would you do" opinions.

Thanks

Looks like the list of parts you have is good for around 500 HP (mainly fuel holding you back), I'd go MAFT-Pro for that power, you shouldn't need a standalone for that unless you are into overkill ;).

If I do shoot for the 500 hp goal like star said what needs to be changed in my fuel setup to support it?

Thanks to everyone for you advice so far

Your setup should be fine for 500 HP, but you'll be running close to the limit on the injector's duty cycles. You'll probably be fine as long as you have a safe tune with that setup.

You don't need a profec e-01 if you go MAFT-Pro. It can convert to speed density tune according to a/f ratios, and even has it's own electronic boost controller, although if seems to be a chore to make it work correctly without spending tons of time tuning. (I'm refering to the boost controller here)

safc to run along side of maft or emanage???
You are joking right?

Edit: They all are piggy backs meaning they work along with the ECU of your car

To me personally the SAFC, 550's and Lex AFM setup is the least complicated to setup and maintain. That setup has been proven to be effective all the way up to the 600rwhp area. But people consider it to be stone age ..... but it still works.
