i have an 89, and for some reason when i hit a bump my suspension seems to be noisy, clanking and squeaking, what do i do to fix this, also my steering vibrarates a little when turning slightly right ( such as switching lanes, but not when completely turnin the wheel, i just got the car aligned so im assuming its not that, any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Many things that could cause the noises over bumps, blown shocks, sway bar bushings, sway bar end links. End links and bushings are similar symptoms knocking sounds when going over bumps and uneven ground as the sway bar move with the suspension. You have to check for play in the end links and bushings to see if the excess play is causing the bar to smack them causing the knocking noise rather than move within their confines.

As for the shocks check to see if they're leaking. A simple test to see if the shocks are shot is to push the car up and down and get it to bounce a bit then see how long it takes it to settle, if it doesn't settle immediately its quite likely you've got some blown shocks.

As for the steering vibration have you tried rebalancing the wheels?

you just need to go through the entire suspension looking for any lose connections or ball joints. I have seen a loose shock center nut cause clunking before.
