I finally killed the auto tranny in the white supra, Took the spare gte transmission ken gave to me and had it rebuilt, Time to swith them out....... going to get some extra tools today. I haven't attempted to remove the transmission without the engine yet so if anyone has any words of wisdom i would be appreciative.....
Next issue, the car has always had some wiring issues but lately it has been unpredictable... The alarm now does not recognize when i unlock the door so it goes off if I lock as soon as I open the door, minor inconvience but no big deal..
However, when I go to start it most of the time it will do absolutly nothing, this is not the old wires that I have fixed so many time before... But if i bypas the ignition and start it under the hood, it cranks right over every time, is my ignition switch bad? , and if so when I replace it will that come with the switch for the alarm and could the problems really just be one in the same?
