ok, so i have searched through some threads and think i have all the steps i need to take but i just wanted someone to double check them for me.

I am having trouble with with the pressure. at idle, it rests right at 20 psi. when accelerating it goes up to a little over 60 psi. it used to read 40 psi.

i am currently using a QS 5W30 mix-synthetic.

so far from what i have read, 1) the viscosity of the oil could be causing this, 2) the oil filter could be bad, 3) the sender unit could be going out, 4) the could be some kind of blockage.

I believe that are the most important ones to check for. if i am missing something, please let me know.

20 psi at idle is perfect acceptable.

You may or may not be low, or have lost volume. The only way to know for sure is to check with a mechanical guage.
