Oil pressure gauge stopped reading

Is this a pretty easy fix on a 1j? I imagine it is just a pickup/sensor on the motor somewhere?

Make sure the single wire didn't slide off it's clip, mine has done it before on my 7m. It scared me pretty bad to watch my oil psi go from great to none, my eyes were like:cry:

the sender is located on the intake side of the motor right under the AC compressor.

Not since I have owned it. Previous owner said it had recently stopped.

Mind you I have only put about 3000 miles on my supra so far. I'm trying to fix everything the previous owner "fix" or "installed"

10 years later I am still doing the same thing. welcome to owning a mk3!

Driftmotion sells a little line that comes off the block, to get it out from in back of the a/c compressor. Then connect the old 7m pressure sensors. Look for the oil pressure wire under the intake manifold and connect it. You should be good to go.

Unless it's a JZA70. Then you just need to fix the wiring or the sender

I thought the jza70 had an idiot light rather than a oil pressure gauge? hence the need for a 7m sender?
