on the na motors we have a blockoff plate where the turbo drain line would hook into the block. im wondering if it is possible to have a oil leak from there because thats where it looks like i have a leak on the motor i just rebuilt. i dont remember if i took that plate off and put a new gasket on it but im confused as to why presureized oil is behind that plate if its where the ct26 drains to

Which plate are you talking about? I thought the turbo drain went to the oil pan, but I'm not sure. There's a couple block off plates on the exhaust side, and I think one of them is for the oil cooler.

The blocked off port beneath the oil filter is not the turbo drain port. The turbo drain port is not drilled out on the N/A block, it's the same shape and it's behind (or left of) the oil filter. The block off path is actually fed from the same galley as the stock turbo feed location.... so, yes, it's pressurized.
