Hi i have a 1987 turbo and i just did the head gasket on it and after a while of driving it i noticed a hole in my downpipe to my pre-cat and when i get the car to boost oil comes out of it and smokes. could this be the turbo seals. and if not what could it be. thanks:1zhelp:

could the car be driven? its not that bad just when u get on the car it smokes. also the turbo boost fine and is smooth and goes 2 like 6.5psi. but should i get it fixed as soon as posible?
Yep, that would be a good idea. 7m's are sensitive to low oil - if you are burning it off (like when you get on it) then you are going to have to watch it closer.
Not to mention the other things that don't like oil - O2 sensors, cat's...
Your best be would be to take care of it sooner than later.

Replace the turbo if you can man, its worth it in the end. And like bwest said 7m's dont like low oil so beware.
