oil filter thread size 7M, 1JZ, 2JZ???

Just a quick question, not technical discussion. I'm piecing together an oil cooler kit with remote filter and need to confirm what thread i need to get for 1JZ GTE (i know 7M, 1JZ, 2JZ all take the same filter so the thread is therefore the same).

I am pretty sure its 3/4-16 inch, can someone please confirm this for me?

It is. As are most Toyotas.

3/4 16 allows a wide variety of filters better than the Toyota Thailand product.

What stud needs to be used on a 1j? I have one that's a inch long, is that enough. I know the 1j threads dip in a bit from the o ring surface.

Use the gold purolator filters.

I alternate between my stash of 08922-02011 and Napa Gold. When the Toyota is gone, I won't get any more. Toyota no longer sells it, but that doesn't mean some dealer some where has stock of it. Or ebay. That number is the older USA made filter. Good, but not great. The Napa Gold is made by Wix, and is high quality.
