like i said i removed my k&n oil filter the other day and it was empty, it had no oil inside of it. I have no oil pressure light coming on. what could be wrong? or did the oil just drain back into the pan since its facing downward-ish ??

Drain back valve could have failed. I find on most filters at work that if you leave it sitting long enough there won't be oil in it.
I prefer purolator filters. And there half the price of a k&n.

Ok. i just replaced it with a crappy fram one while i go and buy my self one of those. Yea i keep my oil full.

Toyota aren't the best filters.
Wix or pure one(aka purolator) are.
Also all filters are supposed to have anti drain back valves. Weather or not how well they work idk. Jdub would know for sure tho.

Got it. Im buying the Wix filter from O'Reilly tomorrow since Autozone or Pepboys dont sell them.
