Well ladies and gentlemen. I stopped the sale on my burgundy Supra, because yesterday around 3:30pm while on my way to my parents for dinner, my engine felt gracious enough to give me an excuse not to go by locking up on me. How i happened, I know, but two embarassed to say.
I have since decided that since replacing the original engine with this one, that I"m going to buy another engine, a TURBO engine! I'm sticking with the 7M-GTE for now due to restraints on the wallet. I'll also be using the search function a lot, because i've decided since i've got the opportunity, I might as well do the swap myself and learn something,

So I figure i'll find a good swap FAQ on here, unless someone is kind enough to throw me a link to the best how to for it. Otherwise I'm armed with my facility for tearing things apart & putting them back together, and teamed with the TSRM.
Now i found a site (www.JspecAutoSports.com) That seems to have a good Price. 1,395.00 + Shipping for basically everything I need except the ECU. I know some of you have been down this road before, so if you know of a cheaper place for the same full setup, please let me know.
Also These engines are from japan. Is there anything I will have to switch over putting it into an america body? Will an american ecu work on a JDM engine? I'm sure there is lots to learn, and if my questions seem stupid from time to time. I apologize.

P.S.: I figure going to the GTE, will save me loads of money in te long run for tuning purposes, rather then trying t tune the GE instead, and being limited. (Learned that from you all)
