hey guys i had the head gasket changed and its oem everything. I wanted to know if theres like a break in for the head gasket or anything. Its an OEM headgasket and im reusing the head bolts torqued to about 75 pounds(was going cheap). I dont know how long it would last but the car runs way better than before and no lag issues. But when i start the car cold it dies after 1-2sec and you have to step down on the gas pedal untill it warms up , then when rubbing it up at 1st it would squeal for a second and go away.it idles at 600rpm and goes up to 1000rpm when warms up. You think it would be the timing belt?just seeing what you guys think.

No break in required for head gaskets.

Check for codes stored first.

Also ignition timing should be checked and set with te1 and e1 jumped.
