npr pistons

im thinking of using the npr pistons from ebay do you guys think i should use their rings is there any other rings i can use with those pistons ?

I've got the same NPR rings - they've been given the A-OK. For a stock and BPU build they'll be fine.

The pistons are cast jobbies, with a ceramic coated top. They're actually made by TEIKIN, who seem to be a OEM for various manufacturers like Hyundai etc.

is ur piston ring chrome i read someones post that chrome piston rings r a no no ? can any1 chime in on that ? r u running them right now no problems ?

a local is making 450 rwhp (not daily but made it) on those pistons and rings. they seem to be holding up fine.

kk thanks ill prolly go with those im not looking into the 400hp range more no more than 350 thanks !!

just an fyi, i am using these for my 400 + hp car

well i bought standard pistons, but i am trading those for another set of npr's and i am going .20 over. long story lol. getting pistons all depends on how good your cylinder walls look.
