ok so i finally got me some money again and im going to be getting started on finishing the never ending one year build :icon_razz but still things need to be ordered and questions need to be asked.
question 1:
im shooting for a 700hp build, my idea for my fuel is duel walbro 255lph and rc 1000cc injectors. but first how would i i go about installing this setup "fuel line sizes, ect.." i already have 1 FPR areomotive " the kit from suprasport.com" and also the LIPP FPD eliminator kit.
question 2:
the block was decked "re-surfaced" but the front timing cover was not on the block and no one will touch it even with knowlege of height difference, from my the top of my head i'd say its a .001-.002 difference and i really dont want to have to go through the process of getting it all resurfaced all over again. so what im asking is if there is a way for me to do it myself? sand belt was one recommendation i heard. but i dont see it staying flat. flat board? i dont care how much time it will take to do this, i just want it dont so i canget a good seal for my MGH.
question 3:
my oil system is stock, but new parts and new lines and put in a oil catch can, is there anything that i should do to help it out if needed?
question 4:
the cooling system is stock, but im looking at getting the koyo radiator and the hard pipes.
question 5:
the boost levels are being planned on being 25 PSI and currently i have the greddy type r BOV with the Standard spring rated to i think 16-18psi but im planning to change it out for the racing spring after breaking in the motor. what im wondering is if i should get another one or not or if the one BOV is enough.
question 6:
im going to need a oil filter sandwich adapter, are the ebay ones good?
question 7:
are v-band clamps good enough of a seal for intercooler pipes in replacement of silicone couplers?
question 8:
is there any other questions i can think of? :biglaugh:
