I am posting this for a friend, he has a small oil leak and not sure where its coming from our most likely guess is this part (bottom part)

but can it also be coming from the sides of the spark plugs cause it doesnt really look like its leaking over

My guess would be Valve cover gaskets. It is (they are) the gasket seen on the bottom of the valve cover at the very top of the first pic. The oil then leaks past the part in the middle of the first pic down to the spark plug holes. It's an all to common occasion and I bet that is your problem.

yeah their not too bad. Shouldn't be anymore then ~14 each. Get them from Champion Toyota and they should be cheaper.

OH and pull them out of the valve covers to see how soft they are. And is the oil in all 3 portions of the spark plug valley?

I had same problem, it was the valve cover gaskets. Mine were 25 per gasket. :( Mine looked fine, but had leaks. I used some RTV black sealant and haven't had a problem since installing the new gaskets.

Get some bolts to replace the most likely stripped screws in there too. M6, 1.00 thread pitch.

5-5.5 quarts of oil. At a very minimum, 4.7. ;) http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=LU&P=6

I tried silicone while I was waiting for the gaskets I ordered.... didn't help one bit. I was leaking oil again 2 days later, only worse. You can try it, a couple people have said it actually worked for them, but I suspect that like most you're going to need new seals.
