chilliwack is not a place its something bored lonely wendy's employees do, thats why I don't eat thier. 
My 89 had an 88 wing installed as a dealer option. (at least thats what the last/original owner told me). I'll have to go dig up the window sticker.

wooohoo, and the badging is gone too? now thats awesome. sleeper status, get them when they least expect it.
There will be nothing on my car to indicate that it is a turbo until you hear it start spooling and then the BOV. I removed everything on the back of my car. Spoiler, wiper, and the antenna. Covered them all with fiberglass and then a little bondo to smooth it all out.
I believe the stock wing actually decreases the coefficient of drag with these cars. (Motor Trend, November 1986, page 67: "Besides the small 'Turbo' badge on the rear valance panel, the only other exterior styling giveaway is the rear deck spoiler that cuts Cd from 0.34 to 0.33.")
Also, I was under the impression that the wing was an option for non-turbo cars (at least for certain years).
