no power to my fuel pump

just today i put my new tank/fuel pump and im getting no power to it has anyone ever encountered this? i couldnt find any fuse for that anywhere, any ideas would be greatly appriciated

You could pull the relay, apply 12v, and see that the contacts close on the diode or ohm scale.

The fuel pump relay is really the two speed relay. The circuit opening relay works like a normal fuel pump relay. That is in the kick panel. How did you test that you don't get power? Why are you putting in a pump? Because your car didn't start, so you just bought a part?

You can test pump operation in the diagnostic box by jumping FP and B+. If the pump comes on, you have a circuit control problem.

the pump went out on a friend i bought it from the tan was rusty and nasty i vatted it and used kbs coatings 3 step it was a total fuel system thing i opened the access panel and tested the plug no power there was power only on the sending unit plug thats it

There will not be power unless the engine is showing an Ne signal from running or starting. Jump the FP and B+ and see if the pump runs.

the pump does run when i jump it has to be a relay or something holiday weekend is over now i have to work on customer stuff till the weekend then ill chase it some more lol

The computer energizes the relay when it has the correct signals. And you are right, the relay could be dead. It is in the right kick panel. Get the EWD so you can see the right one. And then you can check to see if the ECU is energizing it when cranking.
