I've got my buddys supra over here and I'm stumped....87 turbo manual
Story I got was he hit a pot hole and the car went to poop
The car starts and idles perfect, but once you give it gas it starts breaking up. I drove it around the parking lot he pulled over in and if you ease into the throttle very slowly it'll drive.
To me it feels/sounds exactly like a ic pipe came off, but all the pipes are on tight, no cracks/holes
I've tried a few things just to eliminate some possibilities, swapped over some parts from mine ( coils, wires, afm, etc ) plugs look good, but it does seem like the turbo is abnormally louder than a normal mk3 running open dp. Turbo wheels look/feel perfect though.
Any ideas of what to check next would be greatly appreciated.
