My car use to make a few clicking noise when I turned the car off. From what I understand, it's suppose to do this because of the Idle Speed Control Valve.

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=FI&P=106

I've been getting a few codes recently (12, 14, 71) and my car is running a little rich and the idling sometimes fluctuates when I start it for the first time each day and after about half a minute it'll idle consistent.

While browsing the TSRM, I've noticed the ISC Valve section and after listening for the clicking noise on my car, I realized it no longer makes the noise.

Is there anyway to fix or clean the ISC Valve or do I have to buy another one? Could this be the reason why my car is idling so inconsistent?

you can take the isc apart and clean it out and that might solve that problem but it looks like you have other problems as well.

Thanks for the input everyone.

hvyman, I really appreciate the very organized response.

I have a used ignition coil/igniter unit that might resolve the Code 14.

How would I clean the ISC?
