no lights in gauge cluster

i recent had to replace the 3/8 coolant hose to my turbo because it balooned out and poped becouse it was old and spongey, coincidentaly the same day i lost all gauge lights and the lights for the ac/heat. my warning lights still work tho. obviously there was most likey a short somewere but it would be nice if someone could point me in the right direction to fix it, thanks guys

dimmer left of the driver's wheel


been there, done that, thought i blew something, did all this work, it ended up i knockd the dimmer switch over to off position.

i would put my money on a bad dimmer....i had one...u crossed two wires i shouldn't have while wiring a stereo....didn't think much of of it until later that night.

if its just your dash lights(climate control as well) i would say that is where your problem is.

Yep I've been there too. I took it out and found a blown resistor in there. Replaced it and it works fine.

Yeah try adjusting it first, spent close to an hour swearing up and down tearing the dash apart when I finally hit the dimmer switch and all the lights came on. (btw was dealing with a bad headlight switch at the time.)
