New wheel fitment, 16's?

Okay so I am thinking of a new wheel and tire combo for my car. I think i want to 16x8's all around with some 255/40's on all four corners or maybe a wider size rim like 16x9 or 10? I'm looking for some pictures of a similar style and if you can post some pics and specs that would be awesome! I have been very prone to the sportmaxx wheels but if anybody has some other brand/style chime in

here are some of my old rims... 16x7 and 16x8 i believe they are dotz king leone rims from the uk.

wideerrrrr!!!!! but tires for 16s are insanely hard to find. most of them are high sidewall SUV/truck tires....

I know thats what I was looking into and actaully ran into with an older car I had that used to have 16's.. I think I might have to up it up a size to 17's maybe.. I just want a super fat lip all the way around

I was actually thinking MK4's but the TT which I know are 17's but with a 17x8 and 17x9 I think that would look slick

16's are too small. get 17's or 18's.

I agree. Get 17's or 18's esp if you ever plan on upgrading the brakes.

I had 18's which I just sold.. I think I like the mk4 TT's alright, I'll be posting a WTB ad soon
