So I pulled the trigger on some Tein Street Advance coilovers and am trying to make sure I have everything needed for the install.

My suspension has never been done and I would assume that changing the top hats would be a good idea since the Tein SA use the OEM mounts.

I have seen KYBs for sale, but they specified that it was for converting TEMS to Non-TEMS, I would assume these would still work with the Teins

Any ideas on which OEM type mounts would be best for this install, will the KYBs work with the Teins? I would assume a new front spring insulator would be a good idea? Or so the Teins come with these? I believe they come with the boots right?

Thanks in advance for the help, it's much appreciated.

Here are the part numbers I found from an old thread, can anyone tell me what comes with the Tein Coilovers that I wouldn't need to aquire from this part list?

I have heard that KYB is the OE supplier. I guess I am just wondering if I need mounts, the spring insulator, and new bump stops? I would assume the Street Advance comes with the same setup as the Super Streets. Maybe someone who has the SS would know what new parts are needed with the coilover install?

Thanks for the reply!

I cat imagine getting new ones would be a bad thing, you also don't have to go through Toyota to get the tops, O'Riellys has the KYB ones available as well.

Yah the mounts I think are worth getting.

Anyone know if the front spring insulators and bump stops are needed with the Tein setup?
